Booking your holiday
To check availability or ask any other questions please contact us and state the arrival/departure dates you are interested in and the number of people wishing to travel.

HOW TO BOOK
  1. Please reserve by telephone or email. A non-returnable 25% deposit is required within seven days of reservation to secure.
  2. Balance required four weeks before departure.
  3. Payments to be made by direct credit transfer in Euros or mailed to:

  4. Payment details will be made available at the time of reservation. A receipt will be sent only if requested.
TARIFFS
Prices are per person per week or per person per night for daily rates (single supplements apply, see T&C's).

Weekly rate, ridersfrom 350 Euros

TRAVEL
Bagneres de Bigorre has good travel links so take your pick as to the preferred method of travel. Note: travel costs are not included in the holiday price.

Fly: We offer a free connection to and from Pau airport (about a one hour's drive) on Tuesdays throughout the year. Ryanair operate low cost flights from Stanstead to Pau which we consider a good value for money service. On 16th May 2008 Ryan Air are introducing a new route from Bristol to Pau flying on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Connections at other times or from Toulouse (easyJet from Gatwick) by arrangement. There is now a rail link from Toulouse airport to Tarbes and we could arrange a pick up from Tarbes station which is half an hour from Bagneres.

Check with your airline before booking with regard to the ever-changing situation with regards to carrying bikes.

Drive: If you have a group of three or more and an appropriate vehicle it can be as well to drive. We are about 10-12 hours drive from the channel ports, so with several drivers to share the load, an overnight stop may not be necessary. We have found the best routes are from Portsmouth to Le-Havre, Cherbourg, Caen or St.Malo. If you choose to use the fast and efficient Autoroutes expect to pay approximately 30 Euros in Toll fees.

Train: SNCF have a station at Tarbes with their own bus link to take you into Bagneres de Bigorre. More information will be available on this site as we acquire it.

HOLIDAYS INCLUDE
  • Connections if required from and to Pau airport on Tuesdays (Ryanair from London Stanstead).
  • 7-nights bed and breakfast accommodation in triple, double or twin bedded en-suite rooms.
  • Continental breakfasts (cereal or porridge, croissants, fresh bread or toast, fruit juice, tea, coffee or hot chocolate).
  • A welcome BBQ on Tuesday night.
  • A farewell party on Monday night.
  • Use of all hotel facilities; BBQ, hot tub, table tennis, boules etc. (small charge for American Pool).
  • Plus for riders; accompanied or GPS led rides, use of maps, compasses, workshop, wash-down and bike security in garage.
  • Connections to away rides, usually twice weekly.
  • Viewing of home cinema (various DVD's and video footage of your rides).
BUT EXCLUDE
  • Travel costs by plane, train or automobile.
  • Connections other than indicated as inclusive. (Both Pau and Toulouse airports have several car hire desks. Budget Car Hire are very efficient and offer good value for money).
  • Holiday insurance (riders must have appropriate insurance to cover mountain biking/cycling activities).
  • Bike hire (available from 15 Euros per day for an LX equipped full suspension cross country bike).
  • Lunches.
  • Evening meals (apart from welcome BBQ).
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  • Riders must ensure that travel insurance includes for cycling and other activities envisaged.
  • A non-refundable 25% deposit payable by international direct credit transfer (in Euros) is required at the time of booking.
  • Balance payable 4 weeks prior to departure.
  • Sorry, no credit/debit cards.
  • Single supplements apply — 50 Euros per person per week, or 10 Euros per person per night.
